Looking for something better than using S5 phone. To hard to see video feed. Not interested in increasing flight distance. Any advice for infrequent flyer.

It would depend on why you think it's too hard to see the video feed. Is it because of glare? screen size? both? Need more info.

No doubt a tablet is a much better way to go.

if size and glare are still an issue using a tablet with a sun hood, then your only other option would be FPV glasses like the Epson Moverio, or mod your bird to use the Fatsharks.

I have fitted a matte screen protector on, that reduces glare and then a sun hood to shade the screen.

Cant say its perfect but its better.

For those of you using a small tablet and hood, what are you using for a mount?

(Sorry, OP, didn't mean to hijack...)
