Disarming / stopping the props after flight

I wonder if someone could explain the best procedure for cutting power to the props / disarming after landing.
I understand that I need to give 2 or 3 seconds after touching down before cutting power so it does not go into "return home" mode thinking transmitter contact was lost.
But, am I doing the right thing by pulling the throttle stick all the way down, wait 3 seconds and then both sticks to far ends to shut down? And, what setting should I use in the software, it appeared to be defaulted to "intelligent" motor shut down.
Just don't feel right, the motors want to keep speeding up after landing and I seem to turn off just before a tip-over happens as a result....
Thanks! :)

How'd Captin,
After you touch down, only pull THROTTLE STICK,
Straight down, and hold ( 3 seconds ) until motors shut
Off, don't do sticks down and together ( CSC ) control stick combination,
Only perform CSC when starting. And throttle stick down when stopping!

Take care, fly safe!

+1

No need to reprogram anything (leave in intelligent mode).

All you need to do is hold the left stick (throttle) down immediately after touchdown, NO delay.
(no need to execute a CSC pattern).

They will shut down in less than 3 sec. typically.
