disabling vps affect flight route

does disabling vps also disable the flight route..i flew today over water for the first time and the drone icon didnt move at all

What's flight route?

VPS has no effect on GPS. It's effective only when you are flying low. If you are flying low over waters, don't enable VPS.

No ...VPS has no effect on the visibility of the flight route.
It's something you can toggle on/off yourself.
