Did I toast a battery?

So I always take good care of my batteries store at 40% etc. one today was at 14 discharges cycled it ( by accident) was actually the wrong one the other was at 20 discharges that's the one I meant to do , anyway didn't think it should be a big deal. Took it down to 20% then kept it in the air to 5% it was very warm but nothing outrageous. Fully charged it after it completely cooled down here are the results : before discharge total capacity 5394 mAh , 96% life , after discharge (to 5%) total capacity 3255 mAh , 95% life. With 99% charge the cells were 4177 , 4181 , 4175 I did the the self test where you hold the power button the far left light flashed where before they all came on solid . I flew it around kept it close just in case the voltage seemed to drop a little faster to 70% but then seemed normal , took it to 40% all seemed ok at that point. What do you guys think , guess I wont fly over water with this battery as I do that a lot.
