Did i make a good choice

Hi guys making my way up from the u818a i have and was wondering if i made the right choice or if i should resell and recoup my money. I just purchased this package off ebay for 588$ (i know alot but came with hero4 black)
here is the sellers add.

Selling my DJI Phantom 2. I'm upgrading to another drone and don't fly this one as much any more.

It is in perfect working condition. Never crashed.

Comes with everything you see here.

4 batteries
2 Chargers
GoPro Hero4 Black Edition with 16MB MicroSD card
GoPro Filters, Lens Hoods, and a TON of other accessories.

2 things though:

There is a crack in the bracket that holds the GoPro in the H3-3D gimbal. It is super glued fixed. The bracket. The camera is NOT glued in. So you're good there and can use the GoPro4 in the drone or any other use.

And the video signal isn't the best. It's decent within eyesight, but that's it. You might want to upgrade the wireless signal down the road.

Other than that, this is a TOP NOTCH set up. I enjoyed great flights and footage from this set up.

It looks awesome! I think u made the right choice to start, but for another 100 or so you might have been able to score a phantom 3 standard at least

Of course some would call this old school but for the price you paid for all the equipment it was a good deal. The only things I would upgrade would be the antennas for better video reception and change the cameras stock lens to any one of three non-fisheye lens a 3.97mm, 4.35mm or a 5.4mm from www.peauproductions.com.

If you decide to go ahead with the lens also get the lens mount for another $10 so all you need to do is swap out the complete lens assembly. You'll find the mount in the repair parts section.

I also have the 3.97mm and the 5.4mm lenses and really like the wider angle of view on the 3.97mm.

A gopro hero4 Black by itself is about $400 nowadays. So for $188 more your getting a P2 with extra batteries, a case, and the FPV set-up. So I agree that your getting a great deal. Yes you could have paid a little more for a P3 but when adding extra batteries and a case alone is a few hundred dollars more. Plus you get a top of the line GoPro that you'll be able to use for other activities aside from the P2.
