Hello all I was recently gifted a dji drone and am a complete beginner. I believe it is gen 1 but how do you tell? So I can download appropriate manual. Secondly the transmitter looks to have 2 broken toggle switches (upper left and upper right) Is this something that can be repaired? I am confident with electrical repairs. Thank you.

It is a pleasure to welcome you to the Phantom Pilots forum. I hope that you will take advantage of the benefits that come with membership and that you will be able to use the forum for the exchange of innovative ideas and as a resource for current developments in Phantom quadcopter’s.

A picture would help us but basically if it uses typical hobby style lipo batteries it is most likely a P1.
If it uses the "smart" battery with the lights and button on it then it is a P2 which is 5200 mAh, 11.1 V.
