Deleting files

Hi All. I can see threads on this but I'm a bit confused.

I am selling my P3s and need to delete the data. I see that people have said this is on the SD card.

When I put my card onto my PC it comes up with DCIM where the pictures are held. Where are the data files held as I cannot seem to see them.

I believe what you are hoping for is to delete the flight data from the internal SD card which resides inside the Phantom.
I don't recall reading that the data on that card can be wiped.

I think it works kind of like an odometer in a car, that way someone can't sell a used one as new.

Some people are saying they've successfully deleted those files in this thread. I've tried it and I'm not able to delete them.
