Excuse me if it's been answered before, but from my understanding with the dbs in order to get the distance the controller always needs to be pointing in the direction of the drone.

Does this need to be done for short range, an example would be if I was doing an orbit 75 -150 ft radius around me will it loose signal if i stopped pointing the controller at the drone?
Would also add I have the standard
Thank you

Nope. With no other obstructions other than yourself, It should be able to fly around behind you 150 ft no problem.
