DBS MOD ON CE MODE

Hi has anyone tried a dbs antenna in CE mode?
If so did it improve it much over a windsurfer?
I'm after better signal in wooded areas .I'm lucky if I get 2500 feet before I lose HD video.
I've had over 12000 in open fields as a test but I rarely do that

What is CE mode?

It's European equivalent of FCC here in the U.S. FCC mode gives more range with a slight power increase in the transmitter power. The mode is automatically set based on your GPS location.

Got it, now that you explained it, I think I have seen the respective markings in radio equipment. However, I was not aware that there is a mode associated with them.
