Dark video

My P3A is suddenly shooting darker video when the camera is forward facing. When I turn it downward, it's much lighter. Any ideas?

Auto Exposure lock on?

You are likley to metering the exposure for the sky in the canera forward position. That is the expected performance. You need to dial in some exposure comoensation if you want the ground at Ev0. OR- meter for the ground and use manual exposure mode.

You are right on. I used manual exposure and adjusted EvO and got it just right. I would have thought Auto adjust would compensate for all conditions...NOT. Thanks.
