I have mixed thoughts on this. The operator is obviously an attention hound if he's "practicing" above a crowd with no stated intent to film. There are better places to practice.

It's a stupid move more because of the be high negative visibility of drones today than because of any potential danger.

We're fine with 30lb steel bicycles with 200lb riders whizzing by us on the sidewalks.
