I'm sure this has been posted here before, but I did a search and couldn't find it anywhere.
    Does everyone agree with this?

Hopefully it is useful to some newbies, like myself.

Color correcting anything on dlog can be tricky on the phantom. Lens lacks depth and you can easily over saturate or blow out the colors in certain scenario.

Urban and city aerials look good in dlog.

    My 2 cent

Yeah I get that. I still think I'm going to be shooting in none from now on.

I'm using -2-2-2 and am happy enough with how it looks. I mean its decent quality for what is in essence a camera phone sensor.

Agree, I've been playing for 2 weeks and d log footage looks terrible strange smudgey look to trees and grass etc. I've been using none now and have had much better results when post processing.

I was the same. I thought D-Log was the obvious option for superior post processing. But then after looking at the results None is far better.

none 0-0-0 is producing the best results for me. You start to go to low, and you will not be able to bring it to life.

Here is a screenshot of video shot with the above settings, and then graded.

for those grading with "none", are you grading with rec709 LUTs or DLOG LUTs?

I grade without luts. I have not found any luts that I have been happy with.

I would go -1,0,0 if any since these cameras over sharpen ;)

I've been testing camera settings on none -2 -2 -2 and used rec709 Luts
When I did post on resolve 12.

    Still a work in progress...
