so I caught was bringing my bird down and had go left/right disoriented. Took it into a tree limb which resulted in landing upside down all props still spinning. Got everything shut down. Unfortunately I was in a hurry to catch a flight and haven't had time for much inspection. So far all I can see is that the upper half of the shell has separated from the bottom on one side.

What other things should I look for and what's the best way to check all functionality before taking flight again?

Thanks

Also, what size star bit will I need to separate the shell completely? I've got one that fits the motor screws but it looks like the ones for the shell are smaller

Tools you will need,
Hex 1.5 driver
Hex 2.0 driver
Torx T8 driver
Phillips No 00 driver
First before you even try to split the shell, turn on th aircraft as you were getting ready to fly and check for errors on the status screen of the Go App.
Things to look for on the status screen would be obvious if there are errors such as accelerometer or IMU errors, camera function and so on.
If you have no errors, then consider yourself lucky.
Then you can proceed to split the shell or just loosen it to be able to correct the misalignment of the two halfs. Better to push in from the bottom shell againced the top as there are locking tabs to hold them together and that can be difficult enough. Try not to use a screw driver to pry apart as you can damage the seam of the two halfs.
Good luck. Hope you get her flying again! BB..

thanks, i'll check for errors once i get to my hotel in LA tonight. hopefully all is good. two of the locking tabs are outside the shell now ans seems to be the only visible issue. unfortunately i wont have any tools but can probably grab some for cheap at auto zone or somewhere
