I put it in active just looked at me and took off to the right very fast into a tree a few people online said the same issue do you think bug could be a problem.

Crash when in active mode

Active track or Atti mode?
ATTI mode will do that as it is now out of GPS mode and drifts.
You can save out by switching back to P-mode or controlling your right stick.
See manual (online one).
How much damage?
