Is it possible to set a 'new' course lock heading when in flight? Just thinking that there maybe something I want to follow and film which isn't in the direction set at take off. Watched a vid on YouTube where some Dutch guy said toggling the S2 switch would reset course lock but that just resets the home position doesn't it?

Yes, you can reset CL in flight. I think you have to flip S2 from Off 20 CL 5 times to make it happen. It's in the manual somewhere.
You didn't dream it. You are correct. Also if you flip s2 from center to down likewise, it will reset the home point to wherever you are.SJBrit said:

Pretty sure that, since the OP already mentioned course lock, he already has it enabled... but who knows. Maybe not.

I finally figured this out today. You need to flip the course lock and back three times. No more, no less
Thanks for that, will give that a try later. I fly in Nazza mode but have never seen much use for Course lock unless forward direction could be set during flight.
Thanks Flyinghigh, flipping S2 switch between off and CL does indeed set the 'forward' direction for Course Lock to whatever direction the quad is facing at the time. Just tried it.
