Yesterday I coincidentally crossed paths with an informal meetup other drone flyers. I saw at least two GoPro cameras that were covered in copper.

I forgot his name--might have been someone named Scott--said that it helps to reduce RF interference. The copper looked like a thin foil. "Scott" (sorry, I'm horrible with names) said that it is usually used in musical instruments.

Has anyone seen or heard of using this copper foil on a GoPro? Are are any benefits?

Some early H3Bs had terrible RF emissions that interfered with the GPS of the Naza. I don't think it's an issue now though.

Just did a quick experiment with my spectrum analyser to see if my GH3B emits anything in the GPS allocation and I'm happy to report there's absolutely nothing on either the 1.2GHz or 1.5GHz allocations.

    Regards
