Maybe I'm missing a few updates. My GoPro Studio 2.5.7 wont let me trim (the trim functions are greyed out). I can straight convert but I cannot trim.

I ran into the same greyed-out trim buttons, when I tried to edit video from my Phantom 3

Final cut pro.. Proxy. Fcp will transcode ur 4k and keep it in file then u can do ur editing and color grade with this downgraded quality, then wen ur done just chqnge it back to normal quality n all ur edits n etc will be done to the orginal file! Im using my macbook air 2011 mid for this ! Great!

If I am doing heavy 4k editing it helps to encode in power director 16 at a lower res. then it can produce it in 4k when finished
