Is there any way to control the photo/video on a go pro hero 3+ connected to a P2 with the zenmuse gimbal?

I have a video downlink so I can see the picture, but am interested in turning the video on and off and/or triggering a still photo while the P2 is in the air.

Thanks for sponsoring this forum. Very informative.

Not as far as I know. I have never heard of the hardware to do it.

Let's see it in action on the phantom 2 flying ?

lot of people saying they're flying with gopro wifi enabled and not having trouble.

I'm definitely not taking the risk with my $2000 toy. I'd rather just get a big memory chip, record away and edit the video later

Agreed. I've seen some reports like that as well, but I've had one crash that can be attributed to it, and if it was truly a non-issue then DJI would have had no reason to make the divisive move to 5.8GHz for control in the P2V.
