Controller Switch

Does anyone know what the switch on the back of the controller is for? It has a handle thing with a little wheel that has little spikes on it. I looked at the wiki and all it said was "slide lever". It didn't say anything further of what it was for

Those are not installed on remote controllers when you get them from DJI. People use them to tilt the camera -- since older remote controllers do not have a tilt wheel.

I've tried switching it back and forth but it doesn't do anything. Do you have to hook it up to something for it to do anything?

You need to configure this setting.

I have 2 small metal spiky wheels on my remote. The left wheel tilts the camera and the right wheel adjusts the ev for the picture brightness.
