Controller Antenna Position?

I'm sure its been asked a million times.
But whats the best position for it?

I always have mine horizontal... because i've seen a lot of people do it. No research at all! lol

horizontal if u r flying high within 300m or so .. but for a long range flight vertical is better to match the position of the little 2 antennas on the drone .

Tilted at 45 deg. and thus pointing straight up. To mach the polarization of the wire antennas on the bird.
