Controller antenna mod, what to use when not using panel?

They are panel antennas. They are already directional. You do not need a reflector behind them. They have a metal reflector internally.

The ones I got were not much better than the stock antennas. I took one apart and found out why. The look like they were assembled by a five year old.

This place ships fast and the price is $5.00 cheaper than anywhere else I could find.
I can not recommend these antennas enough. I get three miles or more from my back yard flying up a mountain with lots of wifi around.

It was crap. I would get maybe a quarter of the range with the stock antennas. But using windsurfers made a huge difference.
