Connection issues P3S to iPhone 6

I've had a couple of times where the remote connects to the phone and the bird, but the bird won't connect to the phone. No transmission of the image. I've shut everything down and tried again, but still no luck.

Then, I move it 10 feet away, start it up, and everything connected and worked fine.

Is this normal? Is it just a position issue, maybe some interference? Or could it be a fault in the bird?

Do you still see the problem if you enable airplane mode and then turn on Wi-Fi in the iPhone Settings? If so, what happens if you just keep your phone 10 feet away?

I flew today. Turned on Airplane mode and wifi, and turned everything else off. Worked perfectly. Connected up quickly, and didn't even flicker while flying.
