I want to check if my USB port is really faulty. Brain gone rusty so thought I would ask a question.
On my old P2 I could connect my controller to my PC and test the sticks etc. Can you do the same or similar on the 300A controller for a P3?
I just want to see if my P3 controller talks to the PC.

You were right about the P2.

Now you have to plug your tablet / phone into the RC and you can do a stick calibration etc. through the go app.

No. What's wrong with your remote controller?

Transmitter talks to the P3 fine - I could fly it if I wanted to responds to everything but I can''t get my tablet or phone to connect. Not showing anything just greyed out. Tríed different cables and everything. I suspect the USB is faulty. I do get the noise when I plug in though.

It's probably not faulty then. Did you check if your device is setup to charge when the USB cable is connected?
