Compression Errors / Artifacts

I am sorry about it but Phamtom 3 Pro has serious and ridiculous compression errors/artifacts.

One example:

ilker canikligil on Instagram: “This is how compression sucks on Phantom 3 Pro #drones #phantom3 #djiphantom”

I mailed the support but I am not hopeful. Too bad for such a wonderful platform.

Looks like an algae bloom in the sea.

When did that start happening? I have the same issue with the latest firmware and my Ipad2 mini w/Retina. Completely gone with 1.3.2 though.

The firmware on this shot was the one before 1.3.2

1.3.2 must have killed the algae bloom--- pretty powerful stuff

A New Firmware Update (V1.3.20) Is Now Available For Phantom 3 Series | DJI

It does not say anything about video compression. Are you sure this problem is solved?

for those who are interested: I mailed DJI about this. But somehow service staff is clueless about this technology. After several mails asking me to try with other PC's etc (which is obviously irrelevant) today I'vegot an email about taking my drone to local service and it will be repaired!!

I dont know how a compression error/bug can be repaired : )

Are these errors showing up on your live feed in the app or on the recorded video coming off the SC card?

btw DJI wants me to send back the "faulty" drone. ı think they are clueless on every level.
