Compass Error - new iPad and trackimo 100

If you are looking into the lens, the compass is on the left side at the back.
You'll see the small covered area there with two tiny screws.
Put your device on the other side and recalibrate the compass.
Things should be sweet then.

I had the tracker sitting right on top of the compass! Thanks Meta!!

I edited my post(had starboard and port confused) Left side, looking at the camera. Is a compass mod value of 1500-1530 normal? I checked and it said I did not have to calibrate

I thought the accepted compass mod range was 1300-1600, not 1500 on the nose. I do not calibrate my compass every time I fly. In fact I have only calibrated it once. I get a consistent reading of around 1486 and the aircraft has no problems with that.
