Compass calibration issues after crash

Oops, flying my P3S routinely about 30 feet up, a propeller came off, the craft fell to a relatively soft crash in thick tall grass, but did hit the ground upside down, with camera up. Nothing was visibly broken. Setting up again with carefully tightened props, compass calibration fails repeatedly. Switching launch location to an open field far from buildings and structures doesn't help.

It is obviously possible that an internal component is broken or failed. Any other suggestions? Thx.

Repeated failure to calibrate in different locations could indicate a hardware problem.
To confirm, check the compass data in the app.

If you have numbers showing for compass data, that's a good sign.
If it's all zeros that indicates that the compass is busted or disconnected.

Meta4, I show all zeros in the compass fields. Dang. So, the compass is either broken or disconnected. Is the repair user friendly? Or do I need to rely on professionals? Thx.
