CNC Gimbal Calibration Issues

Am new to the Phantom family and love it. I bought one used that had a CNC brushless gimbal on it. Am having an issue where when I mount a go pro on it, the gimbal will not stay level. It keeps dropping like the camera is too heavy. Am getting very frustrated trying to fix. Also get a high pitch whine out of it and seems like it is fighting itself to stay level. PO said he did not have this issue.

Now, at one point I did power it on without a camera on it so am not sure if this has thrown anything off. Anyway, just looking for a way to possibly reset or fix it but keep hitting dead ends.

Any ideas?

Thanks,

If you have a close look on the circuit board of the gimbal, you will see a reset switch. Have you tried this? Once you press it, hold the gimbal in the level position. The gimbal should start up and remain level.
