Sorry to reign in on your fun. But my opinion that could have been a near miss could. You could have hit one of those things hurt someone and be in the news for it. Just be careful and try to consider us phantom pilots who fly safe and not harm the hobby. Otherwise cool video. Just a constructive criticism no harm intended.

THERE IS ALWAYS A HATER  were not all going to fly out in the pasture 10 miles from anything
risk is a part of life otherwise we would all still live in our mothers basement like you.
take off the bubble wrap and enjoy life

That is Right Pull_Up..They had no problem with it and they were good sports about it. They later came back and wanted to see the vid. they thought it was pretty cool, I was just surprised that on the peel of i so closed to the antennas.
Worse that could have happened was antenna strike and a splash. Since we were moving in different directions. or even a strike and nothing would have happened. People are naturally curious and don't mind the camera. I always get people come over for a Q&A and i don't mind.
My phantom has been flying without skipping a beat. I do regular maintenance

I prefer to get permission before the event - indeed in this country I need it to stay legal. We're not allowed within 50m of a person, vehicle, structure or vessel not under our control. A chat with the skipper beforehand and me saying "just steer straight ahead while I track from bow to stern" would have satisfied the boat being control, and I would make sure all the people involved know not to stand up into my path or whatever and what I intended to do. Anyone says no, it's a no go - it's not a shared risk unless we're all in it and for that everyone has to be up for it.

That and I'd want to avoid any accusation of lingering unnecessarily over the bikini-clad girls on the bow!

I'm waiting for summer here and will be flying a lot near boats!
I just wonder what will happen when one of them will use the VHF radio on full power (25 watts) when I fly near them.

I know that the frequency's are not really close, but 25 watts is a lot of power (I've managed to let fluorescent tubes light up when held close to the antenna!)

For sure it will have some effect on my P2V!
