hi, I have the P3 standard running aircraft firmware 1.2.40+ and have received a new DJI official battery. however DJI GO app is wanting me to update the firmware to use this new battery.
I'd rather not upgrade the firmware as it might brick the clone battery that I have successfully used for some time now. (And there's a $160 price difference (AUD) between clone and official. )
Question: If I swap my brand new DJI official battery with someone elses older DJI version of this battery will the app be more happy with using the older battery?
Do the batteries also have their own upgradeable firmware on them also?
Is there any super important reasons I should update my firmware anyway?
thanks!
