After a long winded and repeatedly delayed development process, with a lot of useful suggestions from the community, I have finally finished a fit-for-sale clip on propeller protector.

Here it is on Shapeways; keep in mind that you will need 4 of them for proper operation.

Noooooo... prop guards have their uses, in certain circumstances. And they only cause crashes if pilots are stupid and don't mind their prop wash.

Don't use guards 100% of the time, but there's nothing wrong with using them when you need them. That's why these snap-ons sound like an awesome idea.

i am curious how these will stand up when the guards impact something. Will they detach? It's just a pressure fit, correct?

From my experience with tipped landings and hitting a branch they worked fine. The PLA I print them with is quite stiff compared to the plastic that DJI uses for it's parts. That works more in favour of the full prop guards that I also sell, but it affects these ones as well.
