Click When Gimbal is Pointed Down

Hi All,

I just purchased a Phantom 4 Pro. I noticed that as I point the gimbal down there is single "click" just that comes from the gimbal when about 15 degrees from vertical. Is this normal?

The camera is probably rubbing against the gimbal ribbon cable. If that's the case, you should be able to see it happening if you look closely.

Hi M,

After I posted I looked a little more closely at the gimbal to see if could determine the issue. As the gimbal approaches vertical down I can see the ribbon cable "jump". This is what is making the noise. What I do not know if this will eventually cause a failure or result in the camera making a sudden move damaging the video.

Mine is making the same clicking sound. I can see the ribbon "jumping" right on place when Gimbal is pointed down.
Should I forget about this or should I get a drone replacement? Cheers

My P4P has a made a clicking noise during start-up when the camera tilts straight down since buying it in December. It has generally performed great, no sign of mechanical failure or improper functionality.
