I fly a lot around the ocean and was wondering if I can leave a clear filter on the lens to prevent salt water damage to the actual lens. Will the plastic protective cover most likely fit right over a filter?

With the birds is right.
DJI cameras don't have the front element of the lens exposed.
They come already fitted with a UV filter to provide the protection.
No need to double up which would reduce optical quality.

Ok thanks. Then you can just swap it out if it becomes marred or pitted?

I didn't know that
Does the P3P have it?
How do you remove/replace it?
