I recently crashed my Phantom quite badly, nothing was broken but i got some dirt in one of the motors, what is the easiest way to clean the motor??

Yea or remove, disassemble, and use an electronic type spray cleaner to 'rinse' it.

Then re-lube the bearings (sparingly) and test for 'grittyness'.

N017RW, any recommendations on a product to use to re-lube the bearings? Also, is that something you'd only need do when cleaning the motors?

None specific.

I don't believe in a lot of hype regarding this.
Frequent inspection/PM is the key here.

Any thin oil should do fine.

There's even debate about the bearings being sealed and so oiling is futile.

But if you're going to use a solvent based cleaner, as many are, then you should look into the need to re-lube.

I have not yet had to do this on my Phantom motors but have on other similar BLDC outrunner motors in CP helis.
