I have Photoshop CS2 already and would really rather not stump up for a newer version just to sort this one thing out but I must admit its tempting as an excuse for an upgrade.

Is there some other way I can do this and apply it to other photos without having to jiggle about with sliders for each photo.

Back in the day when I spent more time on PS I'm sure there was a way of recording actions or something but I'm afraid nappies, feeds and bathtime disrupted all that and it's all a long distant memory now.

You might try ProDrenalin (around $50):

It has a setting specifically for the V+ camera. You can search youtube where a guy shows how it works. Like you, I have an old version of Photoshop and didn't really want to shell out the $100's necessary to get the latest version.

Great. Thanks. I'll take a look.

Somewhere on the forums I learned about GIMP. It's free for the Mac or PC or Linux
This site is for the Mac. http://the-gimp.en.softonic.com/ Search to get a PC site.
It does a reasonable job on photos.

Open it, load your pic and go to Filters>Distorts>Lens Distortion.
Set main about minus 60 (adjust to your liking around that amount)
Set Edge to about 10 (adjust).
Once you get what you like, just add your other photos and go to Filters and at the top it says Repeat "Lens Distortion".

Use "Export As" to choose your file specs to save it.
