Cheapest best way to increase FPV range

Well knock your self out with the 500 trying if you don't think the 700 is the way to go . I have mine even modded as well as others do
and get all the distance I want .It's not the 700's issue unless you got a bad one that you can't get it to bind .I have had to mess with
several that I messed with doing that binding to just have it all of a sudden catch .Not sure if the phone scanner was reading the code wrong or what . A member here that builds these like I eat icecream put this together to find that MAC like Flack just told ya .

I can see the MAC address using my RE500.
I can scan the QR on the back of my camera but the SSID and MAC never get input in the app except when I use the RE500.

DJI no longer supports the Phantom 2's so I cant ask them for a QR code.

Updated: My RE700 is working now. I was using the wrong MAC thinking it was the right one. Thanks for your patience and help.

If you are only getting 450 feet, I would suggest putting your phone in airplane mode with WIFI turned on. I had big problems with interference. Next is the RE700. I get about 1200' with that setup at 400' altitude. Next, adding one of these cheap antennas to the RE700 got me out to about 1900'.
