Still on the learning curve with my new P3P.
Not yet ventured out of my back garden - well maybe strayed a little over my neighbours but they are fine with that.
I'm not really into video ( yet ) - my intention is to take aerial photos for my two books on Abbeys and Castles of Ireland.

The weather in Atlantic Canada can be a real challenge at this time of year.
The two photos below are taken just two days apart - what a change.
Jan 12th - bright and sunny, temperature about 4 deg and wind at 5km/hr
Jan 14th - bright and sunny but with two feet of snow, minus 10 deg and wind at 35km/hr

What a challenge the high wind speed was. Needed 110% concentration and difficult to frame photos when you are battling to keep the bird steady in the wind.
All part of the learning curve.
Kept my batteries warm indoors until just ready to fly. Left the bird outside for 5 mins to allow camera lens to clear before take-off.
Lots of fun - can't wait to get to Ireland this summer to work on the photos for my books.

Graham
