My DBS2 will get me as far as my battery ( no mod ) will bring me back, even further but I like to land between 15% and 20%.

I've wondered this same thing. I hate lugging this big antenna around. It's probably the same... I never got out as far as my battery would take me with the small one, but I have with the maxx. It's a security blanket I guess? lol

Here is my case that with a little modification fit dbs2 without removing it. Nanuk 945. It's big and there is still room to modify for more goodies.

You could easily fit both! Cut the foam on the right side!
