Carbon Fiber Composite Adjustable Landing Gear

put in the full URL minus the s and you should be good to go. Not sure i'd bother over the stock set. Now if they're retractable? Maybe. (I've found one video of retractable skids for a Phantom), but not sure i'd go for that particular set up.

hope this helps

Anyone know the weight of the stock skids to compare, these maybe better for anyone purchasing a gimble as I have one on order and from the videos on you tube whilst the copter is on the ground you cant point the camera down as it will touch the floor.

I have these skids... they are heavy, and they are impractical if you plan on using a gimbal.

I used parts from this particular set to fabricate my retracts.

To address the compass concerns- it will not affect the compass, and it does not affect the electronics- it does offer a very stable landing platform, but it is truly overkill in my opinion as it has so much extra material than needed- it is over-engineered.
