We are still without power here in Florence SC due to Matthew. I want to go fly around some but need to charge my batteries. Has anyone ever used a car A/C adapter to plug the charger in and are there any risk in doing so? Just unsure if A/C output is compatible?

    Thanks
    David

Do you mean with a step up converter, 12v to 110 V ?

If so yes, as long as its rated for 500W or so.

Yes that is what I am referring to. Will have to check the watt rating. Thanks
