Cant Take Video or Photos with Iphone

Hello,

I have a Phantom 3 Professional, and I have been flying around with it no problem. I haven't been able to take pictures or video though. I am using my iPhone 6 and the DJI GO app, and when it boots up it says invalid sd card. I have tried to look up other threads with people having the same issue, with no luck.

Am I supposed to have a separate SD card for recording and taking photos?

You need to insert a memory card in the gimbal before you take off. Otherwise, you will not be able to record video or take photos. The memory card that came with your Phantom will work just fine. If that's what you are using now, then try formatting it from the DJI GO app or swap it out with a different memory card.
