Can't get video out on Gopro Hero 3+

I'm trying to get video out using this cable http://www.ebay.com/itm/281300783163?ss ... 1497.l2649 which I purchased on ebay. I have read on some of the forums that a resistor needs to be soldered into the video feed to get the video out through the mini USB but I am not sure if this is true on the Hero 3+. It looks like the Hero 3 and 3+ use the same cable but I am not sure if the Gopro mini USB is the same as standard mini USB, as with the Canon cameras I use I have to get a cable with a Canon specific end that is different than a standard mini USB. At any rate I am not getting a video signal from my Gopro using the cable I purchased on ebay but I'm not sure what I need to purchase to make my Gopro work with my IOSD Mini and 5.8ghz transmitter, I would really appreciate any help. I don't see any reason why that cable wouldn't work. Are you sure all the connections are correct? Can you test whether the AV out of the GoPro is actually working by connecting to your TV?
