Hi,

I suppose Is not possible because of the weight, but is that possible to replace the camera of the Phantom 2 vision by a 5D Mark II, that will be awesome.

Thanks

I have seen one video of a Phantom lifting a DSLR but it was way too heavy and a big risk to camera and bird. The Canon SL1 with the 40mm pancake lens would be much lighter, 537 g. The 5D mark 2 is 1068 g with the same lens.
Several user shave had good success with the Sony RX100, a 20mp compact with a 1" sensor.

Thanks a lot, that what I thought too, Was handy because I already have the 5D and lots of lens but its make sense, many thanks.

To reliably lift a 5D you want an S1000 or other 8 rotor craft. Even the S800 would struggle.

For video, full frame might be ideal but you could get very good results with something smaller and much lighter than a 5D
Problem is it wouldn't be only a camera - to get good results you'd need vibration dampening and some kind of gimbal too, before even thinking about a means to line up shots by FPV.
