Cannot update my firmware on my Phantom

Hello everyone!

I'm trying to upgrade the firmware of my phantom and the H3-3D gimbal, but the assistant software keeps telling me there are no new updates even though I'm running old software. I've tried 3.6 and 3.4 with no success.
I'm thinking this could be an issue caused by the firewall or anti virus software. If I find anything I'll write it here!

I'm running Windows 8 and I've installed the drivers, the RC and DJI software.

What am I supposed to do? Please help!

Okay, I solved it.. Kinda. I tried using another computer and it worked. I'm not sure what made it work though, if it was windows 7 or something else. Anyone know?

Welcome to the forum. I can't say for sure but it is beginning to look like a pattern that when people have a problem upgrading, it's on a Win 8 computer. But I've never run Win 8 so I can't say for sure.

I should imagine the DJI app should support W8, however having played with it for only a short while i couldnt say. glad you got it sorted
