Canadian drone laws.

I'm going to Vancouver in the next couple of days, and just want to know if the laws are similar to USA, and what expect going through customs and the airlines. I have a back pack case. Also, how does registration work there? Can I use my registration from the FAA?
Is it worth the hassle for only 2 days?

Last, where to fly in Vancouver?

and
Flying a drone recreationally - Transport Canada

For most of us on here with Phantoms for recreational use, so long as you follow the other rules you'll be fine.

Oh and there is no requirement to register your drone here so long as it is being used for rec use and fits a certain weight class.

I found that they are pretty lenient. If you're in an area you're not supposed to be they're nice about it. Just wish I could have got some footage in Stanley park.
