Hey, I know you can't fly drones in national parks in the USA, but can you fly the Phantom in national parks in Canada? I'm looking at going to either Banff or Jasper in the spring and would like to fly my drone there (if allowed)
Thanks

you cannot take off or land any aircraft inside the national parks , your drone is considered an aircraft , technically you can fly over the park but you have to take off and land outside the park's boundary which makes it impossible to get anywhere near what you want to film !

I thought I might resurface this discussion, but I'm in the same boat. I'm going to be in Banff in March and want to fly my drone somewhere nearby. Over near Canmore, which is only about 15 minutes away, appears to be a number of places that are just outside the park limits. Yes, it may not be ideal, but there is the possibility of some good footage from there. Anyone ever flown near there and have any recommendations on where might be ideal take off locations?
