It maybe could, But i think it would be quite heavy for it. Also, If you want 4k, you probably should get a laptop/desktop pc made for 4k (4k screen etc.)
Highly doubtful. Not enough RAM, cheap RAM, Intel integrated video cards suck, CPU is an i5 2.2Ghz, no 4k screen.
Search these forums for 4k editing pc and see what others are using. If you really want to edit 4K stress free, you're going to have to shell out some dough.
It would manage fairly simple stuff like cutting sections out and adding audio.
If you start doing colour grading and more you will be waiting for hours.
For something really competent, look for:
i5 or better i7
16GB RAM - or more
2GB Video card
256GB (minimum) SSD for Operating System
If you already have a reasonable monitor you could get tower only.
You're still looking at around £1000 for a system that will cope easily.
Cutting a few corners perhaps half that?
Basically a good gaming machine will do this job reasonably well
Thanks guys, guess it's back to the shop with this lol, guessing the best and cheapest way is to buy everything separate or bundle motherboard with cpu and put together yourself then. Any recommendations on motherboards and CPUs, my max budget (the missus rule) is £600 I would love an iMac but I can't justify the cost vs requirements vs ear ache of my other half [emoji85][emoji23]
