Can P2 H3-3D Gimbal be used on other frames?

I understand the P2 version of the H3-3D gimbal is different in that it does not use the GCU. Does that mean the GCU functions are performed by electronics inside the P2 itself? My real question is - I have a P2 version H3-3D from a "retired" P2 and want to use it on a Tarot T960 build I am doing. I am using a Naza M V2 FC so it would be otherwise compatible, but will the gimbal work? Do I need to add a GCU in the mix? Any idea where I can get a pinout diagram for the 8 position P2 cable? Any help is appreciated!

Yup. You need GCU for NON P2's.
