Can I swap my 2.4Ghz controller and receiver to 5.8Ghz on my P2?

As the title states, can I purchase a 5.8Ghz controller and receiver for my P2. I want to use the 2.4Ghz WiFi on my Hero3+ and don't want the chance of interference using the 2.4Ghz controller/receiver combo that came with my P2.

Yes, you can.
Simply replace the 2.4 receiver with a 5.8 from a FC40 or Vision, and get a FC40/Vision Controller. Binding is very easy.

I'm doing the opposite with my FC40 so I have a 5.8GHz Tx and Rx for sale soon.

But I don't live in the US so shipping cost will be a bit steep I think.

Are you planning to use the GoPro wifi as a video live feed? If so, I don't suggest it as it is very limited in range and video is delayed. And the quality on the video preview is very low.

I own a 350QX before my P2, turning on the GoPro wifi will affect the GPS performance and increase the chance for a flyaway.
