Can CrystalSky be used as external monitor? No HDMI "In"?!

Hey All

Been excited about this release for a while. Fairly disappointed that DJI did not take the opportunity to put a HDMI input to this display. I'm wondering if anyone knows of a potential work around with the following configuration:

With a Phantom 4 Pro+ controller (already comes with integrated screen) I would like to duplicate the controller feed onto the Crystal Sky. Basically to show someone else what I am seeing without them peering over my shoulder. Could this theoretically be accomplished via USB connection? Connect the USB from the Crystal Sky to the plug in on the "Phantom Plus" controller and have both screens feeding at the same time. Can somebody with CrystalSky and a "Phantom Plus" controller *try* this for me before I buy it? Any suggestions?

Thank you!

DJI will be releasing an adaptor/dongle with following features :

Two SDI ports. One for in / one for out. (loop out sdi signal)
Two HDMI ports. One for in / one for out. (loop out hdmi signal)
Can be powered by ronin 2 and communicate ronin 2 via cable.
Can be powered by plugin power supply.
Will have its own dedicated app for field monitor type use.

They dont know when this will be available but was told potentially 2 months

Thank you for your reply! That sounds promising...

This would help them sell bucket loads to video people - especially if they keep a similar mount on the Ronin as they have on the drone RC's

Nothing about this- I’m guessing dead in the water?
