Camera settings for sunrise/sunset?

    What settings are you guys using to capture the contrast of a bright sun against a dark landscape? I have played around a little bit with the iso and shutter speeds but still finding it a bit tricky to get a bright photo that's not overexposed

    In this condition, it's common to overexposed the sun to prevent crushing dark landscape. That's usually ok. You can always add a mask in post to darken the sky and reduce the sun glare. Another option is to use a graduated ND filter. Snake River Prototype makes one. Top quality, but they are expensive. Hope this helps
